Fredda Leiter loves her “other” life, outside of medicine, as an artist. She is passionate about art and enjoys creating images from her travels worldwide and her home in Southern California. She regards art as the best therapy:
“To paint is to leave words behind, to convey an expression, a gesture, the play of light and shadow, to draw a line that leads the eye into the heart of a scene. Painting is the flip side of talking, thinking…the hand moves, the mind quiets, time doesn’t matter.”
She is a member of the Buenaventura Art Association, the Santa Barbara Art Association and the Valley Watercolor Society.
